Young punks are on the never-never” is the debutalbum from Mixtapes & Cellmates frontman Robert Svensson. It is basically an album that have taken Robert most of his early youth to write. This album soars with all the romanticism of first crushes, moving to the “big city” and lost friendships. It is also a remarkable songwriting effort, he kills the klisché “red thread” and shows an amazingly broad repertoar. From the romantic popsongs with a 4 piece band which has guest appearances by people like Jejo Perkovic (The Bearquartet), Adam Olenius (The Shout out louds) and Markus Krunegård to the minimalistic electronic slowsongs And the 80´s uptempo indiepop hooks, this album Will take you to new places all the time.
