Dmitry Fyodorov - Greetings, D!

April 29th, 2008

DF
“Greetings, D!” - A new track from Dmitry Fyodorov saying hello to the D. So what does D stand for? Is it dance, destruction, drunkenness, death, doing it or Dadaism? Or can it be a tribute to the controversial Sergeant D? Founder of the non-profit organization “People for the Ethical Treatment of Zombies” (PETZ), working to ending the injustices that zombies worldwide have had to endure for ages. A great cause for the undead, like Dmitry Fyodorov - bringer of havoc on dance floors and undeadliness. This is the fourth cool track of 2008, featuring roundhouse kick percussion and wicked cut-up rave vocals. This one is one exclusive one. Never before heard, neither in the rink nor on the web.

Cato

April 24th, 2008

Cato

Adrian Recordings latest signee Cato is now out on his third track.

He has been making music for so long. He’s his own universe. He is the mastermind behind artists like Familjen, eMiL Jensen and David & the Citizens, and simply one of the most talented persons we have ever met. He doesn’t agree. So we bought him a recording device and forced him to deliver songs.

Every Wednesday, until the 1st April 2009, we will bring you a new track. That is 52 tracks. That is many. Most of them are not even written yet. Time to dig in!

..and why we don’t serve you any mp3’s for this one. It’s part of the deal.

Emil Jensen on big tour in Sweden again this summer

April 16th, 2008

eMiL Jensen

One of Sweden’s biggest artists Lars Winnerbäck is expanding his already large tour, this summer, by including one more stage where, among others, Adrian Recordings sincere star Emil Jensen performs.

Emil spent whole last summer on tour bicycling around Sweden, and the whole fall on a train tour, if he was lonely then, he don’t need to be this time. As a statement for carpooling, Lars and Emil travel together with Miss Li, Cissi, Nour & Maud, Maia Hirasawa, Markus Krunegård and Sofia Karlsson, all of them performing during the way. The whole thing is sponsored by Amnesty.

Expect spoken word, classic songs as well as new musical pieces that will be featured on Emil’s third album, due to release this fall. He is right now in the studio (Gula studion), recording with Lars Halapi producing.

Dmitry Fyodorov - Signal

April 7th, 2008

Dmitry Fyodorov returns after 20 years and 2 month of havoc dance disaster with this, the third track of 2008. “Signal” - is a track based on signal communications with Dmitry Fyodorov’s restless soul that was received through some serious black magic that would even make the short guy in Abruptum (the man that goes by the name of ‘It’ because he is too evil to have a real name!) go bananas. Watch out, this is evil magic stuff, it will destroy both dance floors and hockey rinks.

Gentle touch - In memory of Savannah

March 19th, 2008

Album time again! Wow, we are so proud of those eight songs covered in a wonderful hand made paper sleeve. The album is like a warm caress of hard hammering synth carpets and wonderful Marr-ish guitars. Occasionally banal, often disturbing and frequently brilliant. The artwork is designed by Robert Svensson and is with its delicate sense and bright manner made to be a contrast to the darker musical direction.

Get the CD in the Songs I wish web shop or buy the mp3 files in The Swedish Models mp3 shop.

We recommend you to download the first single for free and stream the whole album before you buy it - you’ll probably get two copies….

Dmitry Fyodorov - 1987

March 18th, 2008

Adrian Recordings releases a new Dmitry Fyodorov track every 29th of 2008.The second track in Dmitry Fyodorov’s shocking series of bangers 2008 takes us back to the cold war. “1987” is a tribute of the same year. The year when Soviet met Canada in Canada Cup. At this time Soviet hockey players weren’t allowed to play in the NHL, so the Russian players went over to Canada to show the rest of the world how to play a noble game of hockey . Sadly Soviet lost the game, but the game is considered one of the best hockey games every played by some experts. A true showcase of great hockey.

Vapnet - Döda fallet

March 14th, 2008

vapnet-dodafallet

Vapnet’s new album will be released April 9th. It’s ten brand new tracks recorded by Mattias Glavå (also recorded Broder Daniel, Sambassadeur, Håkan Hellström et cetera)

“Vapnet conjugate pop’s structural and instrumental elements to create brightly melodic, lushly orchestrated music that doesn’t let its ambitions or its inventiveness get in the way of setting a perfect mood or having a good time[…]poppy without being twee, moody without being dark, pensive without being precious[…] Vapnet occupy a space somewhere between Swedish dance and Swedish pop, favoring the motion of the former and the bright melodies of the latter.” - Pitchfork media
